I've received around 1,594 emails asking me how I decide which Illustration Friday words I'll draw, and how I come up with all the wacky ideas. Well, I first determine if the moon is waxing or waning. This is a very crucial step when determining whether I draw the IF word, or not.
I then determine if the average price of cheese is even or odd. With that information, I walk around town until at least 5 people bump into me, resulting in either minor lacerations, or at least some kind of bruise.
And lastly, after compiling all the information from these factors, I sneeze in a paper towel, and see if it resembles the IF word of the week.
So there you have it. The complex, and often exasperating, formula for the wonderful IF posts.
