The problem with being the smartest animal on the farm is that you have to put up with all the other stupid ones.

Oh man, I can see how this could be frustrating for a smart pig with noone to have a decent conversation with.
Hilarious concept!

Gives new meaning to the phrase "chicken scratch." Also reminds me of the "Eet Mor Chikin" billboards by Chick-Fil-A....very clever illustration. I love the pig's expression!

Thanks everyone for the kind remarks!

Angela - Maybe he'll find Egghead Jr., and have a someone to talk to.

Amy - Oh, I think I remember those!

Fra - Unfortunately, one of the common side effects of intelligence in pigs is rudeness. Except for Babe, of course. :o)

I do not agree ! Chickens are not stupid... they just have some difficulties to understand quickly the most elementary notions. But they are not stupid !

Funny picture. That pig is awesome. I know that the action lines of the egg is it poping out, but i laugh at the idea that its more of a jack in the box with an egg, just because the chicken is so crazy looking.

I always wondered what an egg dropping from a chicken's bottom sounded like. Hilarious!

This made me giggle. Thanks for the wonderful illustration and humor to go along with it.

Haha. :D Those characters are great. The big looks sooo like he hates being stuck with the stupid chicken. Funny. :) Poit! Haha.

Thanks again everyone!

Anja - Yeah, I wonder if someone spiked the chicken feed this morning...hmmmm...

J... - Well, I still don't think I'll be calling on this chicken to help me out with my calculus. On the other hand, he might make a good paperweight.

Pickledog - "Holy doodle-doo!" :o)

C Bennett - A chicken jack-in-the-box with an egg that pops out of his rear on a spring... I'm gonna have to draw and post that one soon! :o)

Granny - It's true! However, I don't think I'll share the details on how my research came to that conclusion.

Muffin - It is unfortunate that every time they go swimming and have to pick a buddy, the chicken picks the pig . :o)

Haha! I love your illustrations, and the comments are equaly entertaining. Just like to say that the pig is understandably grumpy, how annoying is that chicken. The poor chicken has completely lost the plot - or rather - never knew it in the first place.
